Be aware of sales tax
If you’re buying from a seller who has stores in your home state, you may (or may not) need to pay sales tax. You could save 6% or more by simply purchasing the same item from a seller outside your state who doesn’t collect sales tax for Internet sales. Each state is different and some of the larger stores have started charging sales tax in all states, regardless of where their stores are located. Check the site, or e-mail the retailer’s customer support first, to determine if you’ll have to pay that extra tax.
